There is no mistaking the heritage of the Aqualine Voyager - with its classic hull and unmistakable form it has all the hallmarks of a traditional Dutch Barge - but the interior offers every modern luxury, such as a full sixed washing machine to a home cinema system, all set in a beautiful and luxurious living environment created from the finest materials.

In summary, we've combined the best of the traditional and the contemporary to create a boat in the true spirit of a Dutch Barge, yet fully equipped for the lifestyle and waterways of today. The word quality is synonymous with the Aqualine Voyager. The barges are CAD designed, then built in a 40,000 sq ft workshop in Gdansk, an area of Europe famous for its skilled boat builders. The whole process is closely supervised, stage by stage, to ensure the vessels are made to international standards, and is monitored by the Polish Shipping Register.

Tough on the outside

The hull is manufactured using high grade steel which has been processed and primed in a single process thus giving maximum corrosion resistance. Steel from a European plant noted for its high quality and purity is used for the superstructure, and then both the hull and superstructure are treated using the most advanced primers and paints to provide an excellent finish which will go on looking good well into the future.

Luxurious on the inside

The spacious Voyager offers plenty of room, providing you with a galley, saloon, two cabins, a bathroom and a shower. Utilising natural materials such as solid wood and granite in a timeless manner, but with contemporary touches ensures this is a luxury vessel that will not date.

There has been no compromise on specification so that every comfort you would expect in a modern home is included here. Deep pile carpets, LED feature lighting, concealed convector radiators, heated chrome towel rails - these are just some of the features that make the Voyager exceptionally comfortable.

The recognisable feature of a Dutch Barge is the wheelhouse, and the Voyager offers a superbly designed and well-equipped space for the Helmsman from which to control the boat, or a light and airy venue for dining and socialising. With wrap around seating and a clever folding table, this is a truly scenic place to entertain or watch the sun go down.

Power and reliability

The Voyager comes with a choice of engine, depending upon your power needs.
The 4 cylinder 3769cc Beta Marine 90 engine, with two alternators (one 65 amp and one 175 amp) has been selected for its class leading performance together with low sound and exhaust emissions, and comes supplied with a deluxe control panel.

Alternatively the 6 cylinder Beta Marine 150 engine provides 147bhp@2,800rpm with a 90amp battery charging alternator. It also has a combined heat exchanger and water cooled exhaust manifold for extra reliability.

A lot of thought and design expertise has been put into the wheelhouse to make it comparable to the bridge of a ship. It comes already installed with a comprehensive range of equipment, including compass, VHF radio and engine display panel, all ergonomically laid out for ease of use and built into genuine oak cabinetry. Teak style flooring and luxurious roof lining means this is an area that is practical and stylish at the same time.

A new perspective from the waterways of Europe

There is no better way of getting to the heart of a country than via its waterways and the Voyager is very much at home on the wider rivers and canals of the UK, and it comes into its own if you take it across the Channel to Europe. Whether cruising through the tranquil countryside or mooring up to explore an historic continental city, with a Dutch Barge you'll experience a pace of life that is totally seductive.

The Voyager makes navigating European rivers and canals a sheer pleasure. It offers a place to relax and take in the sights, sounds and culture at your own speed, with the pleasure of knowing you have a boat you can rely on that is equipped with every home comfort.

Most of the European waterways are formed into a single network, though some areas are harder to navigate than others, but with so many thousands of miles of rivers and canals there are no end of places to explore. Beautiful regions such as Burgundy, the Mediterranean, the Camargue and Friesland are well served by canals, and some major rivers like the Seine offer easy and picturesque cruising. And if you ever tire watching the countryside roll by, then you can always stop off for an injection of entertainment and culture at the towns and cities en route.

Amsterdam, Strasbourg and Vienna are just three of the landmark destinations available to the owner of a Dutch Barge.
And for the more adventurous and capable it is even possible to travel along rivers such as the Danube from Austria to the Black Sea, and visit countries such as Russia, Romania and the Czech Republic, or have a special maiden voyage with your boat and sail your new Voyager Dutch barge home to the UK from Poland, as several of our previous customers have.

A new perspective on Europe is all yours with The Voyager Dutch Barge.
